MONTH POSITION

Expenses:

To take good care of Fellows while they are getting settled, MPI offers free airport pickup, housing, and food during the first 3.5 weeks. Thereafter, Fellows are fully responsible for arranging, and paying for, their own Living Expenses: housing, utilities, furniture, food, visas, travel insurance, cell phone service, local transport, COVID tests, homestays, Spanish classes, transport to the airport, and all other personal expenses.

Fellows are encouraged, but not required, to opt in to MPI’s Living Package, for $700/mo over the remaining 12 months, that includes housing, utilities, furniture, food, visas, travel insurance, cell phone service, local transport, COVID tests, homestays, Spanish classes, and transport to the airport. Without the Living Package, Fellows would put at least 200-300 hrs / year into coordinating their living conditions (housing, housing maintenance, furniture, utilities, food, cell phone, travel insurance, covid test subsidies, Spanish classes, local transport, translating documents, etc), and risk lower quality conditions.

Manna Project's Fellow position is among the most affordable long-term volunteer options available.
